IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
The Implementation Plan consolidates the work of four action teams who met monthly from July 2018 to June 2019. These teams of community partners and parents designed a local Help Me Grow system to meet the needs of Pierce County families. The plan will guide ongoing efforts to establish and support a comprehensive system of support for families with children from pregnancy through age five.
PERinatal services in pierce County
This report compiles the results of 15 interviews with perinatal health providers spanning all birthing locations in Pierce County. Providers shared about available services in the county to support parents in pregnancy, labor and delivery, and the postpartum period, along with their perspectives on how services can be strengthened for families during this important stage of life.
PARENT FEEDBACK SUMMARY REPORT
This March 2019 report summarizes the findings from the Help Me Grow parent survey and qualitative interviews conducted from November 2018 through February 2019. The parents interviewed shared their experiences of raising children in Pierce County, and the community resources that were helpful in supporting them. Community members analyzed the responses and themes to determine system recommendations.
